Passionately interested as we are in old architecture, we have brought this 18th century mansion up to date.  Its history is linked to that of Beaune and was built by a lawyer, a brother of a mayor of Beaune in the 18th century. The story goes that Napoleon Bonaparte was entertained here.

At the end of the 18th century, it belonged to Mr Vergnette de la Motte, a scientist and also mayor of Beaune. During the summer, breakfast is served in the garden or in a small dining room located on the ground floor.

From this heaven of peace and quiet, you can easily visit on foot the town center, famous for its hotel-Dieu, old architecture, museums, shops, wine cellars and numerous restaurants. You can also go on foot to the local vineyards with their orderly landscape that changes color according to the season.
